The 26th of October the founding members of the Agriculture business section gathered at Övergrans for its first workshop. The meeting concluded the need to form a more structured working process in the exploration of the full potential in the bilateral commercial ambitions in the agriculture sector. Therefore the meeting formed the “Agricultural section” of the Sweden – Kazakhstan Business Council. Were the participants of the workshop made up its first and founding members. Leif Zetterberg was appointed Chairman for the group.
The topic of discussion of the day was:
- Development forage production;
- Creation of a chain and development of operating dairy-commodity farms;
- Creation of a chain and development of operating integrated poultry farms;
- Creation of a chain and development of operating hothouse economy;
- Creation of a chain and development of operating vegetable storehouses;
- Manufacture horticultural (vegetable), technical and oily raw materials with application of the irrigation systems;
- The manufacture of assemblage an agricultural machinery;
- Creation a chain of feeding farms with the developed infrastructure;
- Development of the grain deep processing;
- Organization a meet processing plant;
- Creation of a chain of breeding live stock farms;
- Development of manufacture and processing of a thin wool;
- Building and modernisation of granaries;
- Creation of manufactures on processing of fruit-and-vegetable production
